KRISHNA - HISTORY or MYTH
This seminar was conducted by Dr Manish Pandit, a consultant in nuclear medicine and a Hon. Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University here in Birmingham and also working at the City Hospital. This event was presented on Sunday, 28th February 2010.
A 25 minute film was first shown followed by a lively, interactive session. Indians have long believed in the scriptures such as Mahabharata. However, the question which has occupied many educated rational Indian minds is whether Krishana did actually exist in flesh & blood. It is to find the scientific background behind the faith that the film was made. The scientific facts are based around archaeology, the living & oral traditions of India and most importantly the Astronomy of the Mahabharata.
